Wind forecasts
These folks have some pretty cool wind maps. You can select a wind forecast for
a specific time in the next 36 hours (in 6-hour increments). The white lines
indicate wind direction, the background color and the black lines show wind
speed. But just because the maps look cool doesn't mean they're accurate.

Conditions
The site unfortunately opens a new popup ad window every time you click a link. Turn
off scripting when you go there if you detest that as much as I do.
Lake and stream levels
This USGS site has lake and stream data for the state. Click on "Current
Streamflow and Rainfall Data" in the left column. Scroll down to Lake Maumelle at
Natural Steps (6th from the bottom of the list). Or just go directly to the page. Add 200 feet to the gauge
readings to convert to Mean Sea Level.
NOTE: (6 Sept 05) The USGS site has been rearranged, so the above paragraph is
probably wrong now. Haven't had a chance to investigate and fix it, but here's the page for
